First Friday and Weekend Walkabout

The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce along with an enthusiastic group of downtown business owners is thrilled to announce an event that will have something for everyone in our community. 

The event presented by Origin Materials, will take place over three weekends this summer and begin with First Friday night, followed by Walkabout Saturday and the Car Show on Sundays. Christina Street will be closed at 6pm Friday evening and reopening Sunday at 6pm. 

The Saturday Walkabout will be 10am to 5pm and feature our local businesses, vendors, and a live music stage and Sunday will be the Car Show and live pop-up music 10am to 1pm. 

The events Walkabout schedule will be as follows: 

Saturday July 9 — Dog Days of Summer Bring your fur babies! We will be featuring the Humane Society, Fox and Hound, play areas, displays and vendors 

Saturday August 6 — Local Market and Art Walk The return of a downtown summer tradition with local artists and crafts – something for everyone! 

Saturday September 3 — Taste of Sarnia Food Festival Bring your appetites! Sarnia’s signature foods, cultural fare and seafood!
