Being the CEO (An SYZ International Company)

At Being the CEO, we work with established but overwhelmed founders (typically companies with 5–50 employees and $1M–$10M in revenue) who often find themselves wearing many hats. We work directly with founders to systemize their businesses through practical work on improving profit margins, implementing simple processes, and setting clear KPIs.

Our goal is simple: help founders replace chaos with systems so operations run smoothly without constant pressure — allowing them to step out of daily firefighting and build a business that does not rely on the owner for every decision.

M. Zubair Hossain

M. Zubair Hossain is an academic, researcher, and management advisor with more than two decades of experience spanning business education, consulting, and development work. He has taught finance, statistics, and management at the university level for eight years and is the author of Green Banking in Bangladesh and Beyond, with numerous research publications in finance, economics, game theory, and econometrics.

Over the course of his consulting career, Mr. Hossain has worked extensively with startups and small to medium-sized businesses, advising founders on market research, operational strategy, industry analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also managed a World Bank project and served as a consultant on various national and international initiatives.

As the founder of SYZ International, he now focuses on helping established but overwhelmed business owners step back from the day-to-day pressures of running their companies. Through the firm’s Being the CEO approach, he works with founders to systemize operations, strengthen decision-making, improve profitability, and build businesses that can grow sustainably without relying on the owner for every decision.

M. Kashif Choudhury

M. Kashif Choudhury, PMP is a Strategy and Operations specialist and project leader with over a decade of experience helping organizations align people, processes, and strategy to achieve meaningful growth.

He began his career in strategy consulting before serving as Project Director for a Google project, where he led a team of 30+ professionals across three countries to become the platform’s top-performing unit. His leadership approach combines big-picture thinking with a people-centered focus, helping teams translate strategic goals into measurable results. He has also held leadership roles such as Chief of Staff, Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Business Officer, where he helped founders structure partnerships, drive revenue growth, and build ventures from the ground up.

At SYZ International, Kashif works directly with established founders who feel stretched wearing too many hats. Through the firm’s Being the CEO framework, he helps business owners simplify operations, improve profitability, develop stronger teams, and reclaim the time needed to focus on leading their companies rather than running every detail.
